How many times do you catch your mind self-talk being very mean to you?

Carl Jung said that “Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate”.

I find this concept extremely powerful because it has been one of the latest things I finally managed to transform…. well let’s be honest, I am still working at it, and the journey never ends!

I have been aware for YEARS about how mean our ego can be talking back to us, mine certainly was. I used to listen to my mind talk to me like I would never dare speak to anyone else: mean as it can be.

Catching our mental dialogue and recognizing it for what it is, a self-inflicted painful judgment is the first step into being able to make a shift for the better.

Those things our mind talk to us about are always our biggest pain points.

For example:

* You are worthless
* You will never amount to anything
* You are fat
* You are ugly
* Look at your body, those flabby legs, that tummy, etc
* Why would he ever love me
* I will never be able to come out of this situation
…..

Complete with the above list with the many that are going around!

The steps you may take to transform this vicious circle are:

#1 Becoming aware that it happens
#2 Catch yourself when it starts
#3 Making the conscious decision of making the shift
#4 Switch the mental statement into a positive mantra

Here are some examples:

Instead of “you will never amount to anything” right there and then say “I am worthy beyond description”

Instead of “why would he ever love me” replace it in the moment with “I am lovable” and/or “I am worthy of love”

Instead of “I will never be able to come out of this situation” say to yourself “Wellbeing is always coming to me” or relating to finances you may say “Abundance is outrageous and pervasive and flowing to me now”.

You get the point. Now make a conscious effort to transform those things that make you suffer. Raise your vibration daily and start sending great energy to the Universe which I can guarantee you, will mirror back to you as you build enough momentum.

Enjoy your weekend!

Love and light.
Shine bright!
