They say that when the student is ready, the right teacher will appear, and that was certainly the case with Shakti and me. I began working with her when I was in my first 30 days of sobriety, more than four years ago. At the time, I felt extremely vulnerable, hopeless, sick, and tired. It was as if my life had somehow exploded and imploded simultaneously, and I didn’t know how to navigate my new reality. I had no intention of letting her into my inner world, but the second our eyes met, I knew I was safe, seen, loved, and held. From the very beginning, our journey unfolded with divine guidance and purpose.

I have always had a strong spiritual connection, but my addiction consistently got in the way of it. At first, Shakti helped plant seeds of hope for my parents and me before I began attending AA. As I started working the Twelve Steps with my sponsor, I brought the patterns of dysfunction and fear I was uncovering to Shakti. Drawing from her wide array of tools—including past-life regressions, rewriting karmic contracts, rewiring old thought programs, and cosmic healings—we worked with these core patterns on many levels. She offered invaluable love, support, and guidance as I reshaped my life from the inside out, helping me recognize, reclaim, and embody my most authentic and loving self.

Over the years, Shakti has continued to support me personally while also conducting various healings and ceremonies for my family. One of the things I appreciate most about her approach is that it fosters empowerment rather than codependency. As I continue to evolve and my healing deepens, she consistently encourages me to build and refine my own spiritual toolkit.
