Participant Agreement

This agreement is between Valerie A. Bottazzi, known professionally as Shakti Bottazzi, sole proprietor doing business as The Awaken Path, and you, the Client, with respect to the Egypt 2027: The Golden Threshold sacred journey, July 30 through August 8, 2027.

Please read this document carefully. Payment of your deposit constitutes your acceptance of all conditions and provisions included herein.

1. Tour Costs and Inclusions

All tour costs are based upon the specified services detailed in the itinerary provided by The Awaken Path.

Tour costs include accommodations, ground transportation in Egypt, domestic flights between Cairo and Luxor, entrance fees to listed archaeological sites, meals as indicated in the itinerary, private access to the Sphinx on August 8, ISO 12312-2 certified eclipse glasses, English-speaking Egyptologist, bottled water during tours, government taxes and service charges, and tipping for Dahabeya crew, airport staff, and eclipse ground team as specified.

Your investment also includes 888 The Quantum Runway, two private Egypt preparation calls with Shakti via Zoom, the Golden Ray Activation, a private cacao ceremony in Egypt, and one post-journey integration call via Zoom.

Itemized cost breakdowns are not available. All tour costs are in US dollars.

2. Items Not Included

Unless otherwise specified, the following are not included: international flights, travel insurance, international health insurance, Egypt entry visa, gratuities for the Egyptologist, laundry, alcoholic beverages, excess baggage charges, meals in Cairo not listed in the itinerary, camera or viewing equipment, entrance to sites not listed in the itinerary, optional activities such as the hot air balloon ride, items of a personal nature, and any items not specifically listed as included.

3. Pricing

Cabin: $12,888 per person

Suite: $13,588 per person

All prices are per person and based on double occupancy. There are no single-occupancy accommodations available.

You may room with a partner or friend of your choosing, or The Awaken Path will facilitate a thoughtful pairing within the group upon request and subject to availability.

Participation is limited and subject to availability. Availability must be confirmed by The Awaken Path prior to enrollment and payment.

4. Deposit and Payment Schedule

Standard Payment Schedule:

Cabin — $12,888 per person:

$4,888 deposit at enrollment
$4,000 due September 30, 2026
$4,000 due December 30, 2026

Suite — $13,588 per person:

$4,888 deposit at enrollment
$4,350 due September 30, 2026
$4,350 due December 30, 2026

All balances must be paid in full by December 30, 2026.

Alternative payment arrangements, including monthly payment plans, may be available by prior written agreement with The Awaken Path. Any alternative payment arrangement does not alter the total investment, applicable processing fees, or cancellation and refund provisions of this agreement.

Payments were fully refundable through July 20, 2026. All payments made after July 20, 2026 are non-refundable.

5. Payment Methods and Processing Fees

Credit Card or PayPal: A 4% processing fee applies to each payment made by credit card or PayPal. The fee is calculated on the amount of each individual payment and is non-refundable.

Bank Wire Transfer: A $40 processing fee applies to each payment made by bank wire transfer.

Payment instructions will be provided privately following confirmation of availability.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

All cancellation requests must be made in writing. Your cancellation date will be the date written notification is received. Verbal cancellation requests will not be honored.

Payments were fully refundable through July 20, 2026. All payments made after July 20, 2026 are non-refundable.

If a participant cancels for any reason after July 20, 2026, no refund will be issued for payments already made.

No refunds or credits will be issued after commencement of the journey for early departure, voluntary absence, missed activities, unused services, or a participant’s decision not to travel for any reason.

All processing fees already incurred are non-refundable.

7. Force Majeure & Cancellation by The Awaken Path

In the unlikely event that The Awaken Path must cancel the tour due to force majeure circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, or government travel restrictions, clients will be notified immediately and every effort will be made to recover and refund payments received, less any non-recoverable costs already paid to third-party suppliers.

The Awaken Path cannot guarantee full refund of all payments due to financial commitments made to suppliers on behalf of the group.

This is one of the reasons comprehensive travel insurance and international health insurance are compulsory. Your insurance policy may cover trip cancellation costs in circumstances beyond The Awaken Path’s control. Clients are strongly encouraged to purchase a policy that includes trip cancellation coverage at the time of enrollment.

8. Transportation

International flights are the sole responsibility of each participant.

Participants are responsible for arranging international travel that allows them to join the scheduled Egypt itinerary beginning in Cairo on July 30, 2027. The journey concludes in Cairo on August 8, 2027.

Please notify The Awaken Path of your international flight details upon booking. The Awaken Path cannot be held responsible for airline schedule changes, seat assignment changes, missed connections, delays, or flight cancellations.

9. Accommodations

All accommodations are double occupancy. There are no single-occupancy options available for this journey.

Cabins may accommodate participants in twin or double configurations. Suites provide larger accommodations and are also based on double occupancy.

You may room with a partner or friend of your choosing, or The Awaken Path will facilitate a thoughtful pairing within the group upon request and subject to availability.

The Awaken Path reserves the right to substitute comparable accommodations in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

10. Passports and Visas

All participants must hold a valid passport with at least six months validity from the date of arrival in Egypt and sufficient blank pages for immigration stamps. It is the sole responsibility of each participant to obtain a valid passport.

The Egypt entry visa is not included in the tour price and is the responsibility of each participant. Current visa fees and requirements should be confirmed with the Egyptian embassy or consulate in your country prior to travel.

11. Travel and Health Insurance

Both comprehensive travel insurance and international health insurance are compulsory for participation in this journey.

Each participant must obtain coverage that includes trip cancellation, medical evacuation, hospitalization, and emergency repatriation prior to departure. Proof of insurance may be requested.

The Awaken Path strongly recommends purchasing coverage at the time of enrollment to protect against non-refundable trip costs and medical emergencies abroad.

12. Health and Physical Condition

Participants are understood to be in sufficient health to undertake international travel and walking tours in extreme heat. August in Egypt involves temperatures that may reach 104°F / 40°C or above.

All participants must notify The Awaken Path in writing of any physical conditions, health concerns, dietary restrictions, food allergies, or special needs no later than April 20, 2027.

The Awaken Path will make reasonable efforts to accommodate needs where possible but cannot guarantee accommodation of all requests.

13. Limits on Responsibility

The Awaken Path shall not be responsible for any injuries, losses, damages, or expenses in connection with accommodations, ground transportation, illness, local laws, climatic conditions, acts of God, delays, or cancellations due to weather, political circumstances, or other causes beyond its control, unless such losses are due to the direct negligence of The Awaken Path.

All participants should be prepared for unexpected changes to the itinerary and arrive with a flexible attitude. Certain elements of the journey, including private access permissions, are subject to confirmation and may be subject to change due to circumstances beyond The Awaken Path’s control. Every effort will be made to honor all confirmed arrangements.

Tour members are expected to treat fellow participants and staff with compassion and respect. The Awaken Path reserves the right to remove any participant from the journey whose behavior is deemed disruptive or harmful to the group, without refund.

14. Pre-Trip Preparation and Included Experiences

Two private Egypt preparation calls with Shakti via Zoom are included as part of your investment and will be scheduled prior to departure. Recordings will be available for participants who are unable to attend live.

Participation in 888 The Quantum Runway and the Golden Ray Activation are also included as part of your Egypt 2027 investment.

A private cacao ceremony with Shakti and the Egypt group is planned as part of the journey in Egypt. As with other itinerary elements, timing and location may be adjusted based on circumstances during the journey.

No refund or credit will be issued for missed calls, activations, ceremonies, or other included experiences.

15. Post-Trip Integration Call

One private group integration call via Zoom is included approximately three to four weeks after return.

A recording will be available for participants who are unable to attend live. Details will be communicated to all participants.

16. Agreement

Participation is subject to prior confirmation of availability by The Awaken Path.

Payment of your deposit following confirmation of availability constitutes your consent to all provisions of this agreement.

By registering for Egypt 2027: The Golden Threshold, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

Participants will also be required to sign a separate Release of Liability form prior to departure.
